Transcription: The hovercraft or air cushion vehicle is a vessel that moves while supported on a cushion of air between itself and the ground surface. A huge fan powered by an engine in the hull pumps air into a chamber situated beneath the vessel and extending the vessel's entire length. This plenum chamber is open at the bottom but a skirt arrangement made of nylon or plastic encloses its sides keeping the air from escaping.
